Anita Uribe

Anita B. Uribe passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 in Madera, California at the age of 82. Anita was born in Smiley, Texas on September 15, 1937 to Facundo and Ofelia (Gonzales) Bustamante. Her parents each had children from previous marriages and Anita was the eldest of their three children together. On April 26,1957 Anita married Savas Uribe in Hidalgo, Texas from whom she was widowed in 1988. Anita was a resident of Madera for over 37 years and she enjoyed passing her time baking, gardening, sewing and crocheting.

Anita was preceded in death by her children Lonnie Adam Soto, Mary Sandoval, Daniel Uribe and Robert Uribe. Anita is survived by her children Eva & husband Luis Ceja, Alfredo Uribe, Diana Uribe, and Selma Soto. Anita leaves behind 28 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Our family would like to sincerely say thank you to all of the staff who cared for our “Nana” at Madera Nursing Center and Optimal Hospice Care.
