Alfred “Vic” Pistoresi was born on November 11, 1928 to Dina and Alfredo Pistoresi in Madera and passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 88. He attended Howard School and Madera High school graduating with the class of 1947. After graduation Vic married his high school sweetheart, Bernice June Diebert, on July 7, 1947. He worked as a Farmer and Welder for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dina and Alfredo Pistoresi, his sisters, Evelyn Del Bono and Ida Lazzerini, his brothers-in-law, Dan Del Bono, Dino Lazzerini and George Romano, his grandson Erick Slaven and son-in-law Bradley Slaven.

Vic is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bernice Pistoresi, his daughters, Deborah Johnson and her husband David, Victoria Slaven, his grandson Kevin Johnson, all of Madera, his granddaughter, Allison Alles and her husband Kenny of Kerman, and their three boys, Trenten, Karson and Dallen, his sister Sara Romano of Watsonville, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the wonderful care givers at Cedar Creek and the extraordinary ladies that took care of him at his home, Paula Tavares, Kim Boren and Dolly Skiff.

Visitation will be held at Jay Chapel on, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA.
