Alejandro (Alex) Molina, age 56, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home in Madera surrounded by his loving family. Alex was born on April 26, 1962 in Edinburg, Texas to Mauro and Leonela Molina, and moved to Madera with his family when he was six years old. Alex was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera, and also volunteered for the Relay-For-Life events to support his sisters whom have battled breast cancer. Alex loved his children, Godchildren and family. He liked making people laugh, loved being outdoors, enjoyed going to Disneyland, and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He collected Dallas Cowboy memorabilia, and he liked to watch WWE Wrestling and Nascar Racing. Alex also loved to go camping, listen to music, barbecue for everyone, build car kits, and he loved to eat seafood, especially crab legs and lobster. He was a good handyman and liked to take long drives and explore new places.
Alex is preceded in death by his parents Mauro and Leonela Molina, his sisters Alma Amy Cota, Delia Martinez and Anna Perales, his nephew Cres Matthew Orecuelas, his brother-in-law Cres Orecuelas, and his cousin Gilbert Alaniz.
Alex is survived by his three children David Molina, Joshua Molina, and Alexis Molina, his brother Mauro Molina Jr., and his five sisters Nora Orecuelas, Diana and her husband Johnny Patterson, Estella Molina, Alicia and her husband Rudy Chavez Sr., and Leticia Molina all of Madera.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 5:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Services conclude at the church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
