Roselen Frances Silva DuBose

Roselen F. Silva, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2021.  Roselen was born in San Jose, CA to John and Nonie Mendoza.  In 1949 Roselen married Elmer Silva and moved to Los Banos and then on to Chowchilla where she raised two daughters and one son.  Roselen was widowed by Elmer and later in life married Hack DuBose whom she loved dearly even after his passing a few years ago.  

Roselen was a homemaker, a dairywoman, and almond farmer.  She loved to quilt, garden, read mystery novels, and spend time on the coast in Morro Bay.  She is survived by many family members and friends that will miss her greatly.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Jay Chapel in Madera.

Rosary and Mass
Wednesday, October 27, 2021 the Rosary will begin at 9:30am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. held at St. Columba Catholic Church in Chowchilla. 

Interment will take place at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
