Mr Robert Malcom " Bob" Ross Jr.

Robert (Bob) Malcom Ross Jr., age 79 passed away in Madera, California on Friday, August 5, 2022. Bob was born in Stanfordville, New York, and later lived in Montana and Washington before settling in Madera. Bob was a very hard worker and belonged to both the Teamsters Union and Bricklayers Union. He loved sports not only watching but playing softball in the Oakhurst California men’s league, Bob was an avid bowler and was a member of the Men’s PBA and had many 300 games. He enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, fishing, and hunting in the Bob Marshal Wilderness area in Montana.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Helen Shultz and Robert M. Ross Sr. and sisters, Misti Wells and Penny Hickman as well as by his fishing and hunting partner Dave Zumwalt.

He is survived by his best friend, lifelong partner and devoted wife Angie Carol Ross, his son John Alfred Ross and his wife KarinJo Ross, his three grandchildren Kristin Rollinger and her husband Markus, Derrick Ross and Blaine Ross and by 2 great grandchildren KodyJo and Casey and three sisters, Debbie Gonzales and her husband James, Cindy Delsid and Patti and Tom Magee.

“Our family won’t be the same without Bob but we will see him again in Heaven.”

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 12 Noon at Jay Chapel in Madera, where the service will be livestreamed on the funeral chapel web page www.jaychapel.com and messages for the family may also be left.
