In 1971 they started their farming dreams, where they farmed vegetables of all kind. This was a family operation, as their children Talbert, Nanette and Peter J. helped them on the farm. This was the title Patty held dearest was being a farmer, in 1995 Pete and Patty planted prunes which they grew organically until 2011 when Patty sold the farm. She wanted to make sure the farm was sold to family members.

During Patty’s life she gave freely of her extra time to her children and grandchildren. She held many 4H leader hats from beginning girls to rocketry. She was a FFA Mom, also CUHS Band Mom, she was president of the POMS for 2 years. Patty and Pete were very active in the Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California for many years, in which she held several offices both local and state levels. Whenever they needed someone to step in Patty would without questions. She held Fresno County President position for many (7) years. She supported her son Peter (US Navy) by joining the Blue Star Moms for people in the military service. She also supported her daughter Nanette by joining Central Valley CWA. Also during wine season she babysat her grandsons to support Talbert.

Some of the best times of Patty`s life was spending time with her grandchildren; Matthew, Kylie, Jerad, Kassidy and Caydin. She would get so excited when she talked to them or was able to visit with them. She loved when her grandchildren invited friends to join in on the event she was attending.

Patty was also active with her church, St. George Greek Orthodox Church. She would give as much as her body would allow her to do. Especially when it came to the famous Fresno Greek Food Festival they would have in August. During this event one year Pete and Patty were introduced to the Greek Orthodox Church and they fell in love with it. They renewed their wedding vows in the church for their 40th Anniversary.

The last 4 almost 5 years Patty has been a resident at Paintbrush Assisted Living and Memory Care. Patty quickly became the heart and soul of Paintbrush. She quickly became the greeter, she welcomed everyone who came in. She was active and encouraging on every Paintbrush outing they took. Patty found her greatest joy taking care of the Paintbrush community garden. This was her pride and joy, she would select the crops to be planted, she would fertilize, treat for pests and let the residents know when it was time to pick them.
