Maria Magdalena Alvino Magana

Maria Magdalena Alvino Magana, 59, was born in Honduras, on May 27, 1963 to Pedro Montejos and Luisa Magana. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 28, 2022 in Modesto, California.

Maria was always there for her family with love and guidance. She had a positive outlook on life, always caring, compassionate, and willing to help others.
She loved going to the casinos for rest and relaxation. Some of her interests were her plants, watching butterflies and birds.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Vela, Sr., father Pedro Montejos, and mother Luisa Magana.

She is survived by sons, Javier Licona Magana, Alfredo Vela, Francisco Vela, daughters, Marlene Vela, Milagros Alvino, Monica Vela, sister: Natalia Cortez, 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A Visitation service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA
