Manuel Flores Torres

Manuel Flores Torres, 86, passed away on May 22, 2023 in Fresno, California. Manuel was born on June 22, 1936 in Madera, California to Pedro Torres and Maria Flores.

Manuel was a very good, kind, compassionate, loyal and loving person. He kept to himself but helped in any way he could. He worked as a Candy Maker, Custodian, and was self-employed. Manuel had many hobbies that he enjoyed throughout his life. He loved fishing, golfing, playing cards, dominos, boating and welding. He was a man of faith and worshipped at St. Joachim Catholic Church.

Manuel is survived by his five loving children, Martha Torres, Charlotte Torres De La Cruz, Rosalie Torres Larez, Manuel Anthony Torres Jr., and Pedro Juan Torres, one sister Jane Garcia, many grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

His parents, 2 brothers, and 6 sisters preceded him in death.

A Visitation will be held at Jay Chapel, 1121 Roberts Ave., Madera, CA. on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm with a recitation of the Rosary at 5:00 pm.

An inurnment will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Madera, California.
