Donald James Lemley was born on September 26, 1968 to Don and Karyl Lemley. He passed away suddenly on February 18, 2018.

Donald was President of Lemley Land Sales, Inc. and enjoyed great success representing homebuilders throughout the Central Valley area in the acquisition of subdivision land.

Donald was an amazing father to his princess daughter Presleigh Lemley. Literally his every breath was for his daughter. There was a loving bond between them so strong it could never be broken even in death. The two of them found such peace in just being together, playing video games and most especially swimming in their home swimming pool.

As a youth, Donald was an Altar Server at The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church here in Fresno. In 2017, Donald wrote a children’s book titled, “The King Frog and his Princess Daughter.” The book was published on July 11, 2017.

Donald a superb and gifted athlete having played the position of catcher for two years on the Bullard High School baseball team. He excelled in golf and tennis.

He was predeceased by his most favorite cousin Timothy Ryan and his uncle Michael Lowe.

Donald leaves behind his beautiful daughter Presleigh, his mother and father; Don and Karyl Lemley ,a sister Debra Smutny her husband Jeffrey and their children Anna and Christopher Smutny. His grand mother Darlene Lowe, his aunt and uncle, Mayo and Karlene Ryan and his aunt Linda Jenvy, and many nieces and nephews.

Donald was a very giving and generous person and loyal to his friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held at the Shrine of St. Therese Church, 855 E. Floradora Avenue (Wishon & Floradora Avenues), Fresno, California at 10:00 AM, Friday February 23, 2018.
