Victor Estevan Reyes-Mata, 57, died after a long battle with cancer on Thursday February 22, 2018 in Fresno, Ca. He was born on October 2, 1960 in San Salvador, El Salvador to Zoila Mayorga and Victor Reyes.

In 1986 he married Patty Amaya. Together they raised 3 children. He worked in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years. His love for soccer drove him to become a soccer coach for both Madera High schools, and Madera Youth Soccer league for a little over 10 years.

He was kind and loving and will truly be missed.

He is survived by Patty, his wife, daughter Patricia Reyes, daughter Kristy Basila and husband Anthony, Son Victor Reyes and wife Monica; granddaughter Maya Reyes.

Visitation will be held at Jay Chapel in Madera, Thursday March 1, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday March 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm at St Joachim Catholic Church in Madera, CA followed by a burial at Calvary Cemetery in Madera, CA.
