Venir “Benita” Aguilar, age 73, a native of Peña Blanca, Chihuahua, Mexico and a resident of Fresno CA, for 45 years passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Fresno California. A homemaker, “Benita” was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

Benita was preceded in death by her father Roberto Salais, and her sister, Irene Silvas and her great grandson, Manuel Rocha III.

She is survived by her mother, Elena Silva of Morgan Hill, CA. by her children, Vicente Aguilar and his wife “Crystal of Fresno, CA, Antonio Aguilar and his wife Ursula of Fresno, CA, Martha Elena Aguilar and her husband Marselo Fuentes Orosco of Fresno, CA, Gloria Aguilar-Zavala and her husband Faustino Zavala of Fresno, CA, Maribel Aguilar and her husband Jesse Cortez of Fresno, CA, and Christina Valdez and her husband Marcos Valdez of Madera, CA. She is the sister of Lorenzo Salais of El Paso, TX, Irma Silvas of Morgan Hill, CA. Fernando Antonio Silvas of Las Vegas NV, Al E. Silvas of Morgan Hill, CA Leticia Cassidy and her husband Michael of Birmingham AL, and Jennifer White and her husband Tim of Tustin, CA She is the grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel with the Recitation of the Rosary following at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera with interment following at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.

Remembrances may be made to the donor’s favorite Charity.
