Tillie Luna, age 82, a native and lifelong resident of Madera, CA passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at her Madera home. She was a retired cook and dietician for various retirement homes. She was a native Californian and an elder in the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band who was part of the San Juan Bautista California Mission. Tillie loved family gatherings and cooking for everyone.

She was preceded in death by her son, Eugene Diaz; brother, Eugene Luna and sister, Rebecca Lopez.

Tillie is survived by her two sons: John Diaz of Washington and Michael Diaz of Fresno, CA and two daughters: Tillie Huerta and Isabelle Diaz both of Madera, CA. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with an Evening Service beginning at 6:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera. Graveside Services will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
