Terri Rebensdorf Simonian passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017, at the age of 74 years. Terri was born to Jacob and Elsie Rebensdorf in Fresno where she was a lifelong resident. Terri attended Barstow Elementary School and graduated from Central Union High School with the Class of 1960. Terri received her Associates Degree in nursing at Fresno City College becoming an RN. As a registered nurse, Terri started her nursing career at Fresno Community and later VMC , however in 1978 she was hired on at Valley Children’s Hospital never leaving, until her retirement in 2006. Even after retirement she kept her RN license volunteering at Turning Point of Kerman and Fresno Pregnancy Center, where she served on the Mobile Unit. Terri was a member of the Biola Congregational Church. In retirement Terri enjoyed lunches with her friends, bible studies, working with the ladies of Biola Tabitha making Kuchen, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her loving husband Robert who she recently lost.

Terri is preceeded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert “Bob” Simonian, her parents, her brother-in-law Peter Simonian, her nephews Mark Bringetto and Tim Wise and her great niece Nicole Dunn.

Terri is survived by her children Tammie Riley and her husband Chris and Robby all of Fresno. She is the sister of Laurette Wise and the sister-in-law of Shirley Bringetto and her husband Leo and Patty Costa Simonian all of Fresno. She is the beloved grandmother of Alexa, Hana, and Noah Riley and was the favorite aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 22, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at Jay Chapel, 1121 Roberts Avenue in Madera. A Memorial Service in thanksgiving and celebration of her life will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11 AM at the Biola Congregational Church, 4717 North 5th Street in Biola.

Private Interment will be at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
