Robert Gonzalez Ochoa, beloved father, son and brother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 13, 2017. He was 39 years old. Robert was a lifelong resident of Madera, CA. He was born April 17, 1978 to Joe and Teresa Ochoa. He was a graduate of Madera High School Class of 1996 and successfully completed a maintenance course from Madera Center in 2010.

Robert had the most infectious laugh and biggest smile. He truly loved life and enjoyed talking and joking with family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his son and daughter whom he loved dearly. Robert was a hard worker and would do anything for his children and family.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers; Garsadan B. Gonzalez and Joe Ochoa Sr.

Robert is survived by his son Sage L. Ochoa and daughter Aria Ochoa. Parents, Joe and Teresa Ochoa. Grandmothers, Jennie Gonzalez and Esther Rodriguez. His brother, Joseph Ochoa and his wife Irene and his sister, Bernadette Ochoa. His nephews; Joshua Anaya, James Anaya , Jacob Anaya, Ethan Ochoa and Warren Robinson V and nieces Symone Ochoa, Kirsten Ochoa, Samantha Anaya, Jocelynn Ochoa, Savannah Anaya. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
