Raymond Arias, age 78, a native and lifelong resident of Madera, CA passed away Friday morning, December 22, 2017 at his Madera home.

He was a retired farm service manager and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Raymond enjoyed barbecuing for his loved ones, keeping his yard in outstanding shape, and was an accomplished woodcraftsman, designing and building countless pieces for his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Juanita Arias; father, Rosario and mother, Aurelia; sisters, Helen and Jessie and brothers, Gilbert, Rosario and Ronnie.

Raymond is survived by his 2 sons: Raymond Arias Jr., Robert Arias and 1 daughter, Patti Arias. He was the sibling of Jimmy and Ricky Arias, Mary Arroyo, Josie Catalan, Ida Arias, Theresa Chavira and Carmen Serrato. Raymond is also survived by his 6 grandchildren: Mark Davis, Brandi Davis, Steven Arias, Sara Arias, Julia Arias, Cole Arias and 1 great-granddaughter, Aleecia Rosel and his beloved dog, Cheech.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
