Mike Martinez passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the age of 66. He was a lifelong resident of Madera born to Daniel and Patsy Martinez on August 3, 1950. Mike worked as a grounds keeper and maintenance man at Madera Unified School District for 30 years. He was a member of The United Methodist Church in Madera.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Debra Zurita and his brother, Gary Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce Martinez of Madera, his son Christopher Martinez of Seattle, WA, his two daughters, Terri Martinez and Jennifer Martinez both of Madera his two brothers, Daniel Estrada of Escalon, CA and Ed Martinez of Fresno and one sister, Patty Juarez of Clovis. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on, Monday, June 19, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the Madera United Methodist Church.
