Miguel Angel Becerra, age 51, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Miguel was born in Nayarit, Mexico to Pablo and Bernarda Becerra. The family later immigrated to Madera in 1973. Miguel was a devoted “Chargers” fan and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.

Miguel was preceded in death by his mother Bernarda and by a daughter Josefina.

Miguel is survived by his wife of 18 years, Maria Becerra, his father Pablo Becerra, his children; Michael Becerra, Miguel Becerra Jr. Christopher Becerra, Mallorie Becerra, and Consuelo Becerra. He is the brother of Jose R. Becerra, Juan Becerra, Pablo Becerra Jr. Martha Becerra, Carmen Garcia, Lupe Becerra, and Leticia Krueger. Miguel is the grandfather of six.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 2:00P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel in Madera with a Vigil and Rosary Service following at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 9 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.

Interment will follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
