L.E. Baker

L.E. Baker beloved Grandma B, went to be with the Lord December 28th 2020. She was quietly resting when she was called home. Born May 1st 1929 in Cherry Valley Arkansas to John Allen and Mitty (Branch) Roan. L.E. lived most of her life in the Chowchilla and Madera area.

She was a Christian and loved being active in her church. She loved walking for exercise and gardening. She took pride in her yard and her beautiful pecan tree. At 91 she was still cracking and packing bags of pecans for neighbors and friends.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved visits from her grandkids and loved to be with her family and her friends at the senior center. She was always happy, never complained and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her son Rocky Lee McEntire (Rebecca), grandchildren; Sheri McEntire-Hopper, Jarrod Baker, Brittany Baker, Mandy Boyett and 9 great grandchildren.


Preceded in death husband Lloyd Baker Sr., son Lloyd Baker Jr. 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Graveside service 1/11/21 at 2pm Chowchilla Cemetery.
