Mr Julio SorianoFebruary 20, 1949 ~ June 2, 2017 (age 68)
Julio Soriano , age 68 passed away at his Madera residence on Friday evening, June 2, 2017 surrounded by his family members. Julio was born in Mexico and later immigrated to the United States, settling in Madera in 1999 where he has lived ever since. He was employed in various endeavors over the years but most recently at Golden Valley School District where he was a custodian. Julio enjoyed collecting Clowns, Classic Cars, and his garden. A sports enthusiast Julio enjoyed his favorite soccer team “Las Chivas” from Guadalajara in the state of Jalisco in Mexico, and here in the United States was his “LA Dodgers” which he recently was able to attend one of its games which he enjoyed very much.
In addition to his parents Jesus and Juventina he was preceded in death by his siblings, Reynaldo Soriano, Alfonso Lopez, and Guillermina Soto and by children Julio Soriano, and Isabel Soriano.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Raquel Leal Soriano of Madera, by his children, Antonio Soriano, Maria Soriano, Adela Soriano, Antonia Ambriz, Reynaldo Soriano, Diliana Soto, and by his other children, Virginia Sanchez, Carmen Sanchez, Alfredo Sanchez, Ralph Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, and Santiago Munoz, and by his sister Teresa Soto. He is the beloved grandfather of 65 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 2 to 7 PM at Jay Chapel with Recitation of the Rosary following at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Services will conclude at the Church, with inurnment at a later date.
