Jesus Villegas, age 79, of Mendota, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

Jesus was born on January 6, 1939 in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico. Jesus was a very hard working man, he worked as a truck driver. He was a family man and loved his family dearly. He loved to fish, barbecue and visit the casinos.

Jesus was married to his wife Maria Villegas for 58 loving years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, bother and uncle.

He is survived by wife, Maria Villegas, 4 sons, Jesse Villegas, Martin Villegas, Manuel Villegas, Eloy Villegas, 3 daughters, Lupe Villegas Valles, Josie Villegas and Janie Villegas Llanez. Brother, Domingo Villegas and sister, Dolores Villegas. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mendota, CA. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:30 am with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens in Fresno, CA.
