Hector Mauricio Meraz Puente

Hector Mauricio Puente, 45, was called into God's eternal embrace on December 24, 2020. He was born on September 9, 1975, in Madera, California, and was a lifelong resident of the Heart of Califonia. Hector was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church. He was a plumber. Hector was a member of Clampers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and the outdoors. He was the best Tio and was very loving and approachable.

He is preceded in death by his Godfather, Jesus Puente, his maternal grandparents Elaria Nunez and Pioquinto Meraz, his Paternal grandparents Petra Puente and Pascual Puente. His sister Lisa Puente also goes before to be with the Lord.

He is survived by her parents Hector and Loreto Puente. His siblings Guadalupe Meraz, Yvonne Puente Castro, Shelly Puente, and Christina Puente Salceda also survive him. Hector loved his nieces and nephews. Alma, Alina, Alexa, Jocy, Elijah, Johnny, Kayla, Arianna, Gabriel, Kevin, Jacob, Jazmine, David, Jennifer, Sierra, Philip, and Juanito will miss their uncle Hector as he goes before them to the house of the Heavenly Father.

Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, beginning at 10:30 am with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at St. Joachim Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am. He will then be taken to Calvary Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.

May the soul of Hector Mauricio and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
