Gary Cavallero, 53, passed away of a sudden illness early Tuesday morning, June 20, 2017 at Madera Community Hospital. Gary was the devoted son and only child of the late Aldo and Ada Manfredi Cavallero, long time members of the Italian Community of Madera. Gary was born in Madera where he lived his entire life, graduating from Madera High School with the Class of 1982. He later attended Fresno City College. Gary was an employee of the Georgia Pacific Company here in Madera for 31 years. In the community Gary was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, and was very active in the Italian Catholic Federation where he served as Sentinal and he was proud to hold the position of Vice- President of the Italo-American Club of Madera. He was a dedicated and hard-working member of both clubs where he donated his help in cooking, serving, and making sure each monthly event was memorable with his unique and beautiful decorating skills.

Preceded in death by his father Aldo in 2006 and his mother Ada in 2015, Gary is survived by his cousins and extended members of the Cavallero, Manfredi, Brown, and Pascarella families, including Mike Cavallero and his wife, Marsha of Fresno, James Cavallero and his wife, Kerin of Madera, and their children, Danny, Mathew, and Mark; Libby Ames and her husband, Jeff of Van Nuys, CA. and their children, Robyn Woodyard and her husband Scot, sons Jeffrey and Samuel Woodyard and Jenny Osborne, her husband, Robert and their daughter Samantha; Timothy Cavallero of Madera, Steven Cavallero of North Hollywood, CA. and Joan Mayoh and her husband Daniel of Madera and their daughter, Jamie Payne Mayoh. Adriana Brown of Madera, Richard Brown of Kirkland, WA; Will Howard and his wife Marissa of Clovis and their children; Gayle Uribe and her husband Walter of Santa Marta, Colombia; Robert Brown and his wife, Stacy of Madera and their sons, Richard, William and James, Stell Manfredi and his wife Patti and children, Tasha Garlick and her husband, Bill of Madera and their children and Mia Manfredi and family of Witicha Kansas. Ron Manfredi and his wife, Betty and their children, Erin Thurman and her husband Todd of Cameron Park, CA and children; Seth Manfredi and his wife Kate of San Francisco, CA; Adam Manfredi of Madera; Kaylea Davis and her husband, Jordan of Benecia, CA. and children, Jim Pascarella and his wife, Samantha of Spring Valley, CA, and their children, David, Alexi, Ari.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 2 to 7 P.M. at Jay Chapel with Recitation of The Rosary and Vigil Service following at 7 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 9 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church.

Entombment will be in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
