Gone but Never forgotten.
Message from Mary Ann Barnes

I had the honor of meeting and getting to know Faye the last couple of years. She opened her home and heart to me as if I was one of her own. She had a gentleness about her that I felt the day I met her. I witnessed the true Love from her husband Stan, her children and extended family members. I am grateful that I was able to see her Friday at the hospital, but remember not of her frailty, but of the big, warm smile when she woke up from her needed nap. She was happy to wake up seeing Stan, me and Dave in her room. That beautiful, infectious smile she gave me when she woke up will be my last memory of her. My last words to her before I left was that "You are a strong woman... and I would see her soon". Rest in Peace my friend. I know you are watch us and have never left our side. With Love, Mary Ann

I've had the privilege & pleasure to get to know Faye for many years & she let me call her "Nana". She was thoughtful, nurturing and very caring. She loved her husband so dearly and shared many stories of her life back in the days. I remember her fondness on everything antique and would show me her collections of antique dolls. She show cased them during the holiday season and I just loved visiting them then. She's also known for her cooking and was kind enough to share many recipies with me. I will always cherish all the knitted foot warmers she made for me. I still use them whenever I'm cold. Thank you Nana for everything you've shared with me. You were a wonderful woman and a good mother to your children (especially Dave). You will be missed but your memories will live on. May you rest in eternal peace! God bless!

Mom, from the moment I met you I felt a comfort and acceptance that quickly grew into a "mother and daughter" bond. Your love of dad and how you treated him was an example of how I wanted to treat my future husband. I will carry in my heart forever your love, kindness and the many things I learned from you. I miss you Mom but am happy you are pain free and dancing with Jesus and your heavenly family. ( ps.....give my mom and dad a hug from me)

Faye was my mother - selfless, caring and loving that goes beyond any words I could type here. Her love for my father was admirable that no love story movie could ever translate.

No more pain, worry, sorrow or doubt for mom. She's slapping high fives with my grandparents and dancing in the streets of gold.

Though I mourn with every tear that drops - I celebrate for the brief 'cup of coffee' we had. Next time will be forever. Rest In Peace mom, I'll see you soon.
