Ms Dedria Varela Wilkins

Dedria Varela Wilkins was born September 24th, 1948, she went home to meet her Lord on January 8th, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Gene & Clota Wilkins of Madera. Dedria was very active in scouting, and the American Legion, also her church Valley West all of Madera. She was a gentle and sweet soul. Her family was everything to her. She was a caring sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Dedria is survived by her Brother Carol E. Wilkins of Raymond, CA, her Sister and Brother in-law Pamela and Greg Hodges of Auberry, CA, Daughter Shaleen Van Deursen of Clovis, CA, Son Shohn Varela of Fresno, CA, Son David Scott Varela of Fresno, CA, 9 Grandchildren, and 2 Great grandchildren.

Family viewing is Tuesday, January 19th, 2021, from 4PM to 8PM at Jay Chapel, Graveside services are Wednesday January 20, 2021 at Arbor Vitae at 2:00 PM limited to family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boy Scouts of Madera, and Valley West Christian Center, Madera CA. Masks are required, and social distancing is required.
