Dear Misael, Araceli, Yuridian, Brian and Bella,
I was so sorry to read about the loss of your son. As a nurse I can tell you that we grieve along with the family. Death is especially hard when our loved one is so young. There is a passage in the scriptures which has brought me much comfort and I am hoping it will bring you a measure of hope as well. Jesus came across a widow whose son had died from the city of Nain. The account is found in the bible book of Luke Chapter 7 verse 12-15. In verse 13 it states " When the lord caught sight of her, he was moved with pity for her, and he said to her: " Stop weeping." Verse 14 goes on to say " Then he said: " Young man, I say to you, get up!" Verse 15 states " And the dead man sat up and started to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. There are 8 examples in the holy writtings, that speak of earthly resurrections 4 examples of dead children given back to their parents alive. These accounts are found in the bible book of Luke chapter 8: 41-56, Acts chapter 20: 9-12, 2 kings chapter 4: 32-37 and many more. As a nurse I can tell you that it is these passages that bring me a measure of comfort as we nurses grieve along with the family, with all my love Rhoma Porras RN.
