Carolyn Chloe Felix passed away at the age of 81, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Carolyn is the daughter of Martin and Catherine Calaway. Carolyn was a long time resident of Madera, and was a graduate of Madera High School. Carolyn’s family ran their own business, Calaway's Drugs, for many years in Madera. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dave Lee Felix.

She is survived by her children, Catherine, Martin, Bart, Dean, David, and Terri Felix, as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carolyn also leaves behind Lilly the Cat. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera. Vigil services will follow at 12:30 pm at St. Joachim Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
