In the early evening of Saturday, July 8, 2017, Betty Jane Papagni passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. In October of 2006, Betty was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 58 years, Vince.

Betty is survived by her children Vince, Laverne and Theresa, all of Fresno. She is the nana of Jennifer and Frank Johnson and their children; Frankie, Joseph, Jayden, Macraee and Sarah, Stephanie and Benjamin LaPlante and their daughter Millie; Gia Marie Nefroney.

Betty was a dedicated wife, mother, nana and devoted to her family and her home.

Betty’s life will be honored and remembered at a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at the Sacred Heart in Fresno on Friday July 14, 2017at 10 A.M.

Interment will follow at St. Peters Cemetery in Fresno.
