Anita Phyllis Proctor of Fresno, CA passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 93, on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Anita was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 23, 1953 and joyfully served in her full-time ministry for 34 years. She was beloved by so many whom she taught Bible truths and helped them improve their lives by means of God’s Word. The hope Anita held dearly to her heart is found at Revelation 21:4,5 “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new. Also, he says: “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”
Anita was a loving wife to her husband, Stanley, for 62 years before he fell asleep in death in 2014. She will be greatly missed by her sons, David Proctor and his wife Cathy, Michael Proctor and his wife Patty; daughters, Laura Perrett and her husband Terry and Linda Jenson and her husband Rodney. She is the much-loved grandmother of 13; and great-grandmother of 13. However, she was lovingly known as “Grandma” by many.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 8769 N. Cedar Avenue in Fresno. Private Interment will be at the Clovis Cemetery.
